Alaska (Sanak Is. St. Lazaria Is., Forrester Is., Kodiak Is., Semidi Is., Shumigan Is., Sandman Reefs) and s. to the Queen Charlotte Is. off w. Canada (British Columbia) and nw. United States (Carroll Is., Washington).
Disperses into the n. Pacific Ocean and the Bering Sea and s. to Japan, the Ryukyu Is. and n. Baja.
